I've seen Carla Kihlstedt play three times (Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Book of Knots, and an improv thing at the Stone). She is great. 2 Foot Yard also has Shahzad Ismaily who I really like as well...

The Uri Caine album is about like the Saft one for me - I like it but I don't love it. The only one I don't have yet is Koby Israelite which I'm sure I will get at some point for completeness' sake. I'm more of a Masada freak than an overall Zorn freak at this point so I have almost all the Masada releases and very little else he's done...
Of the limited SC3 music I've heard, some of it's good, some I don't like at all - but the Masada tunes they did were just excellent across the board.
Just realized I forgot my really latest Zorn purchase, which is "Arcana"... haven't read too much of it yet though. I'm bogged down in one of the first essays which is long and dense.

The Cracow Klezmer Band (Balan) and the Feldman/Courvoisier (Malphas) are my two favorite Book of Angels albums, maybe you are unknowingly saving the best for last.
I think the upcoming Vol. 9 with the Secret Chiefs 3 is sure to be a winner as well. I saw them perform the material at the Stone before they recorded the CD, it was fabulous.

My last two Zorn/Tzadik purchases....
Jamie Saft Trio - Astaroth Cracow Klezmer Band - Remembrance
I like, but don't love, Astaroth... I really liked them when I saw them live, but as a studio recording I find it a little less interesting than a lot of the other Book of Angels CDs.
Remembrance is an excellent album all around... I love Cracow Klezmer Band and especially the stuff they've done with Zorn - Balan being my favorite.

Listening to the Masada shows from Rome in June, all shuffled together... blissful Such nice recordings, I'm so happy they put them all on the radio.

I was very thrilled that, the only time I've ever seen BK live, they played my two favorite pieces back to back... Hazor and Kisofim.
