Sounds good man......I have Jesu and Mono coming up in London in November....I love Jesu, but am not familiar with Mono....
My most recent show was Zappa Plays Zappa. Great night, not quite as good as last year though.....

Yeah, been playing for 12 years. What is Water Babies? Thats cool man. Im a drummer, retired now though! Water Babies is a collection of material from the Shorter / Williams era, that didnt get put out until 1976. Its a great album, like alot of single Miles Cds, its available pretty cheap.....

I am. Miles is a fucking huge inspiration to me as a trumpeter and improviser. His quintet with Wayne Shorter/Tony Williams etc. is probably my favourite period. Didnt know you played trumpet? Yeah man, nothing on this earth sounds like Miles trumpet. Favourite period for me would have to be the electric period, 68 - 75, but I love that quintet also. Tony Williams kills. Have you heard Water Babies? Definitely worth checking..... Randomly on eBay yesterday and managed to snare a new sealed copy of The Cellar Door Sessions. Been meaning to pick it up for a good while now, and cant wait to hear it. 6cds is alot to digest though, gonna take my time with it....And, of course the On The Corner box when its released, although it looks like its been delayed.....

Hey Pappa, I added 'Bergeron' and got this comment: "I can identify with your attitude, lists and comments AND (the only important thing really), YOUR PIECE IV. Right now, I am listening to you in crappy speakers included in a monitor so everything sounds like telephone recordings on Trout Mask Replica. Hey, have anything to do with Offering radio show ? I added them lately and read you mention them." ;D Well, thats cool....Networking, its what its all about. I did message him to enquire about his music, but its for sale download only, and my computer barely works at the best of times, let alone downloading music and transferring it here there and god knows where.....I hate computers..... ....thanks for letting me know though dawg!

The problem with the Bergeron stuff is that its for sale as download only, or else Id have maybe bought some. Still, digital age and that shit, I should maybe move with the times right?

.....Is a cool dope argentine self-taught avant-garde composer. He had english literature lessons off Borges. He is also one of Zorn's biggest classical music influences, with Kagel's implementation of dah 'theatre of the absurd' into music havin' been a proper major inspiration for the Cobra. He was one of the major forces of musical modernism next to Stockhausen and Boulez (or thereabouts) in the early '60, but his name has whittled down a little. Check it if u haven't checked it. Cool P, thanks for the heads up.....meanwhile, also check this guy out www.myspace.com/vincentbergeron...... Great music, I think.

Miles Davis- Bitches Brew Its been too long since I last listened to this. Absolutely perfect. Indeed. The great thing about BB, is that when you dont listen to it for a good while and you come back to it, it blows your mind all over again.....
