John Zorn and The Chapel are extremely excited to announce a very special run show at The Chapel in San Francisco in celebration of John Zorn’s 65th birthday. Zorn has called upon some of the best musicians in the genre to join him, including John Medeski, Mike Patton, Cyro Baptista and Erik Friedlander, among many others, to recreate works from his numerous outfits including Masada, Bagatelles, Secret Chiefs 3 and more.
“It is truly an honor to be invited back to The Chapel for an exciting series of concerts in celebration of my 65th birthday,” said John Zorn. “Featuring over a dozen all-star ensembles, this four-day retrospective includes music from the 3 Masada books, the new book of Bagatelles, Simulacrum and new classical concert music for violin, cello, piano, vibes and rhythm section.
