So, what do you guys think about the collabs between Masami Akita and Zbigniew Karkowski? I own two of their releases - the 2001 album (不味苦) and In Real Time. The latter didn't really do much for me, but I'm a huge fan of the other disc. It's not too long (around 35 minutes) and contains many of those crispy digital noise textures I'm so fond of.
Are any of their other releases worth tracking down? The Sound Pressure Level CD pops up from time to time on ebay and I've considered buying it quite a few times already - mainly because it's from Akita's analogue phase, contrary to all their latter collaborations. I'm curious if their are many differences in the sound.

I've got the second CD which is live at Pezner Club, Lyon, France on 17 September 1999. Generally if reminds me of Houjoue (I think). It's a pretty good CD, some of it is also very analogue, particularly in the first half. In my opinion well worth getting. Having said that it's the only one by Mazk that I've got or heard so I can't comment on how good it is compared to the other releases. If I didn't know any better it just sounds like a solo Merzbow release if that's of any help. I've also had a bottle of wine so my comments might be total bollocks

I can now soberly confirm last nights comments as being factual.
