Any word about the new releases from Veal records? I didn't know they were already out, the two Beta Popes cds and Kalashnikov. I loved Doom Jazz and liked Whoopie Pie (this one took me more time, but I also like it).

Well, it doesn't seem a lot of people is interested in the Veal releases, but of the five releases I have, four are just amazing, the fifth being Kalashnikov, wich I don't quite dig yet.. The next Jamie Saft release on Tzadik looks like it'll be another masterpiece, Black Shabbis.. Hope there are a lot of new Veals on the horizon.. I'll ask Jamie on tomorrow's concert in Spain..

Ok, I forgot about this thread and started a new Saft / Veal thread. Apologies! Swami Lateplate and Whoopie Pie albums are both great, I agree.

It's a pity there hasn't been any Veal release in such a long time. New Zion trio must be amazing indeed. I think I'll wait until there's another release to order more than one cd and make up for the ahipping costs, but I can hardly wait..

I'm sure you'll dig it, Rodrigo. Downloads of all the albums are only $5 at Veal too, if that helps!
