Well, seems like Daniel has returned from Israel and he's recorded a new record with Uri Caine, Greg Cohen and Joey Baron... I just get his cd Amen from a friend who travelled to Israel last week, the addition of piano to the Zamir tipical trio sounds great!! There's also a trumpet in one theme, haven't listened through it all yet. Someone knows a link where I can read all the comentary translated? Everything is in hebrew so I don't even know the names of the musicians in the record.. Anyhow, it's really really good. Can't wait to hear him back on Tzadik..

"Amen" is nice music, but I like more the Satlah stuff! Musicians on this album: Omer Avital, Omri Mor, Daniel Freedman , Daniel Zamir ( www.israel-music.com/daniel_zamir/amen-10304/ ) Curious about the new CD. Cohen and Baron are great.

I think that the problem of "Amen" is the sound.... to clean compare to the Satlah sound (laswell was the producer if I remember well....)
