Just wondering if anyone knows... they are both quite close to the East River. Didn't hear much about the neighborhood DMG is in but I saw pics of flooding about 500 yards from the Stone. And then there's all the musicians (and their instruments) on the LES, Brooklyn, Queens, etc... hopefully it was not as bad as the news was making it look last night.

Edit: They clarified later that they have not actually been to the store to see if there is damage.

More good news! Downtown Music Gallery says the store is "dry as a bone" !
I'm sure they will all be without power for a while, though. The Stone has canceled shows until subway and electricity is running again.

It's still a pain in the ass to get around. Buses are all running but very crowded and the subways run uptown from 34th street only and Atlantic/Pacific further into Brooklyn. Hopefully people a good amount of people will still get down there.

Yeah, I know, it's still a mess. My dad works in Manhattan and he's basically given up trying to get in for the next week. They live up in Westchester and ConEd says they might have no power for another week.
I'll be back in NYC in a few weeks trying to help out with some tourist $$...
