www.filmlinc.com/films/on-sale/john-zorn-a-film-in-15-scenesScreening October 8th and 9th. I guess the script he's been working on for all these years (as seen in Arcana) has finally been put on film Four times, even. I won't paste it here because it's pretty long but the text at the link is worth a read (written by JZ about the film).

Thanks for the link. I remember reading about those private performances on the Sonora 1998 book on JZ. Mathieu Amalric was invited? The link between the two is getting stronger, no wonder the rumors of the shooting of a new JZ documentary by him.
He didn't mention Grand Guignol among his file cards works... but I have never heard of that Mount Analogue before too.

Mount Analogue is a new file card piece based on Gurdjieff featuring Cyro Baptista's band + Kenny Wolleson. It was originally intended as a companion piece to the Elegy re-issue.
Almaric was recently in New York doing some filming for the documentary.

Do you think it would be available to watch other than film festival type stuff like this? I'd love to see it but I really don't know if I can make it down to NYC again this year, moneywise...
