I've just had a reply from Justin at Cold Spring in response to my asking if he had any further info about the "Merzbient" set. Apparenty there has been a manufacturing error resulting in the release being delayed by a couple of weeks.

Anyone picked up a copy of Merzbow and Z'ev - Spiral right/Spiral left, it's another Coldspring release?
It could be pretty interesting, I saw Z'ev a few years ago supporting KK Null in Bristol. He's an excellent freeform drummer, however, when I say drummer I really mean a noise version of drumming. When I saw him he had quite a set up of scrap with which to bash out his "rhythms".
I'll certainly look into it in the new year.
So many releases, so little time (and money!).
The Orthic Thrench.

I've had since it came out, only listened once so far though due to the arrival of Merzbient. Liked it, but expected his percussion to be more up front. It isn't what I'd call an ambient release, but it also wasn't ultra harsh. Needs a revisit
